A message from Dr. Gil Coleman:  I expect miracles. I think that’s why I have witnessed so many over my career. Once someone experiences a miracle, people feel compelled to share their story to benefit others.

Identifying The Cause
A friend, spouse, or family member found a doctor who identifies and eliminates the underlying cause of massive headaches and back pain that results in your loved one getting their life back. Is their healing a miracle? YES!

If you have been paralyzed by pain physically, doesn't it affect your social life and relationships?  Not being well affects everything.  Becoming well naturally and without drugs or surgery after years of frustration, gives people amazing appreciation and gratitude for quality of life, and is why our patients choose to share their experiences.

If you give us a chance to help you, you may find you have a story to tell. Make it your goal to HAVE A STORY. Tell us about it and inspire us, and we will put YOU on our website.

Seeing results is what gets me up in the morning to help someone new. After more than 20 years, I love this work because IT WORKS.  I am committed that everyone I touch experience freedom, vitality, and health. The stories and pictures that follow are the personal stories of my patients. I hope they inspire you as much as they do me. Enjoy.

Definition Miracle (noun) [mirrek’l] : An event or action that is amazing, extraordinary, or unexpected. An event that appears to be contrary to the laws of nature.

"You do create miracles"

Dear Gil: I know that you do not need another testimonial; you are inundated with them, but I can think of no better way to celebrate Independence Day than writing to a man who has enormously increased my ability to be independent at so many levels. You have adjusted way more than my spine, Gil. You have performed a major adjustment on my attitude; not just regarding your profession but my attitude about a lot of things in life.

You do create miracles. I have witnessed many since my first meeting with you on April 20th. Over the past couple of months I have come to certainly appreciate your skill, but more importantly, your will. Mohammad Ali once said that “champions are made from something they have inside them – a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have the skill, and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill”. Your skill is unquestionably the best, but your will has impressed me even more. That is why you are a great champion as a human being.

I have watched you time after time selflessly promote the growth of others. There is no greater love for another than that. We all make choices.  Gil, I have seen you and see every time I am with you, you choose second by second, thought by thought, feeling by feeling to create something valuable for the life of those around you.  You have made me realize that indeed, every great success is the result of hundreds and thousands of small efforts and accomplishments that few people ever appreciate.  I very much want you to know how much I appreciate every small thing you do for me and everyone as part of the greater good that only you may see and understand.

Lastly, I think your acceptance of others as you find them, including the thorns, is a primary reason you are such a great success. I truly appreciate your acceptance of my defects as well as what I hope are a few good qualities. That has made working with you pure bliss.  As we have briefly discussed, it is effortless to come to you, and that, my friend, is so rare and very unique to you. I believe it is true that happiness lies for those who cry, those who hurt, those who have searched, and those who have tried, for only they can appreciate the importance of people who have touched their lives.  I am certain that you are a deliriously happy man.I am privileged to know you. I really admire you.

Sincerely, Beth Bennett

"he has worked a miracle
for my wife, 6 month old daughter and myself"

This is my testimonial of the care I am receiving from Dr. Coleman.  I have only seen him 3 times so far but I can sense a market difference in the way I feel and there is less pain than before.  I can say to all of you without sounding like an infomercial for his practice that he has worked a miracle for my wife, 6 month old daughter and myself.

I came to Dr. Gil after the pushing and prodding of my wife to “just go see him”.  I was skeptical about his care for myself because the pain I had was in my nose and head not my back.  I am aware of chiropractic care and what the human spine does logically, but societal wisdom says they are just “back crackers”.

What I must tell you all is that almost every ailment I had from migraine headaches, asthma, sinusitis, allergies, low energy, fatigue, can be traced back (no pun intended) to your spine. Your spine is like a computer that has a language that you cannot understand. When you are out in your yard doing work or doing household chores and you feel stiff from stooping or just fatigued in general your body just had a “system or application crash”. When you ignore that slight change in your mental and physical condition you are setting yourself up for a total operating system crash and you have to reformat your system and reinstall the information.

In other words folks, listen to your body when it is screaming “you have performed an illegal function and the system will shut down unless you rest and take it easy”. In some instances your body doesn’t let you feel pain or alert you when something is wrong, but there is still something wrong. That’s where Dr. Coleman comes in, he knows how to speak the language of your spine and effectively treat the root causes of your ailments. Just think of him as the “Dr. Do little” of chiropractic medicine.Dr. Coleman has an extremely positive attitude and a love for the help he provides, just speaking to him will inspire you to better health.

Here is your step by step process to better health through chiropractic care: First, call Dr. Coleman’s office and surprisingly, you’ll be directed to speak with the doctor himself. Second, have a positive attitude about getting better (it really, really helps a lot). Third, talk candidly with Dr. Coleman about what you want from his treatment. Finally, go to his office for treatment and feel the magic of your body’s power to heal come through once you begin treatment.

Oh, one final note to convince the skeptical, my 6-month-old daughter was delivered by “forceps” and has had a constant battle with eczema, a rattling cough and restricted breathing. She was diagnosed with “Reactive Airway Disease”. Dr. Coleman told my wife and I that our baby needed to be examined for spinal subluxation and if present that she needed to be “adjusted”. He found subluxations in 3 areas and felt they were present due to the forceps delivery. One treatment from Dr. Coleman and the rattling cough disappeared as well as a market decrease in her eczema symptoms!

Pitts_Chris_web.jpgBipolar Disorder

Hello, my name is Chris and I was diagnosed with Bipolar about 9 years ago. I have been treated with medication and therapy over this period. About 5 years ago, I got carbon monoxide poisoning at a ranch where I was an executive chef. Something about that triggered a severe depression that medication and therapy alone could not treat.  I got so sick that I almost died.  I began some treatments that have begun to bring me out of the most severe depressions but even after over 4 years of that, it was like I could never get over the top to experience any of the relief of being on the other side of the mountain of suffering.  I continued treatments, medications, and therapy and without the love and dedication of my wife, I would not be where I am.

To my surprise, I came in contact with Dr. Coleman while trying to sell some of my fishing supplies, to help with my families bills.  I do not think it was an accidental encounter.  I believe our paths crossed because I sincerely am at a point in my life where I want to be well and function better than I have.  After talking with Dr. Coleman about my medical history and my wife's recent cancer diagnosis, he offered to treat me to see if some of the treatment he offered would help me over the "top" so I could continue on my journey to health.

Getting help from Dr. Coleman was a miracle from the beginning.  I was skeptical that chiropractic treatments would be able to do anything but I was willing to try.  After only a few treatments, I found I was experiencing some relief and more hopeful that I could "get that ball over the top of the mountain".  I continued my other medical treatments but adding chiropractic allowed me to extend my other treatments longer (going to a 7-week period between treatments rather than 3 weeks) and actually begin to feel like parts of my self that had been muted were coming alive again.  I had my sense of humor back, I was more confident. Chiropractic "unblocked" the blockage that kept me from healing and getting well.

I know I will always have my illness and will need to manage it, but I am so grateful that I met Dr. Coleman and took the "risk" of a treatment I had not yet tried.  More than that, I am thankful that it is working to help me "come back to life again" and allow my body, mind, spirit and soul to heal.  With the price of gas, medical bills, financial challenges, and the time and effort to drive an hour each way, I sometime wonder if it's worth it.   To this day, I believe it is and will continue to work with Dr. Coleman to restore my health and self again.  I am grateful to him because it is not just the treatments he offers, but the encouragement and belief in me that encourage me to want more and be more!

If you struggle with Bipolar illness, add this to your treatment plan, and expect "miracles".
Chris Pitts

Allen_Christine_1.jpgMigraine Headaches

There is always some trepidation when seeking a new healthcare professional, but I am truly blessed that I found Dr. Coleman. He takes the time to listen to your needs and concerns, and I believe his cheerful, positive attitude is part of the cure. Yes, I do feel cured of migraines-- I was cleaning out my medicine chest recently, and came across an Imetrex injection. I was quite surprised to see that it had expired in 1996, which meant that I hadn't had a migraine since at least that time. I do have minor headaches occasionally, but I honestly believe that the reason I haven't had a migraine for over two years is because of the chiropractic care I've received from Dr. Gil.

Low Back Pain, Headaches, and Stiff Neck

Before seeing Dr. Gil Coleman my general health seems O.K. However, I did suffer from lower backaches forever and had recently been experiencing headaches and stiff neck symptoms. I guess in my own mind I attributed my age (54) and stress to my condition and would “have to live with it”. Susan (my wife) had been receiving chiropractic adjustments from Dr. Coleman for about a year and would always try and get me to go. Well, one day Susan and I were off to the mall or something and she had an adjustment on the way. Dr. Coleman actually came out to the truck where I was waiting and spoke to me about trying something different. I was interested but did not commit at that time. After suffering with neck and back pain for about another year, I decided to give Dr. Coleman a chance.

My initial visit was thorough and informative, not what I expected. I realized immediately that my impression of chiropractic was very wrong. Dr. Coleman explained chiropractic to me in such a way that it made perfect sense to me.Literature and seminars provided an even clearer picture for me. My neck symptoms are completely gone and my lower back has improved to a point where it‘s rare I have an episode.I am now in my second year of treatment with Dr. C. and can honestly say the difference in my neck and back have enabled me to do more activities without fear of pain or injury.

I am grateful to Susan and Dr. C. for their persistence and am glad we took the first step.I am now on an extended maintenance program and really FEEL GREAT!I wish I had realized earlier, “…NO! You don’t have to live with it…”!

Neck Pain and Headaches

100% Money Back Guarantee

Ever noticed how many times companies or people use that line and don’t really mean it?

Well with Chiropractic care from Dr. Gil Coleman I got an improvement of 86% in 4 months and it gets better than that!  Dr. Coleman took X-rays of me and found that my neck to measure -40cm and 70% reversed. After 4 months of treatment Dr. Coleman literally turned me around to +21cm for an 86% improvement! Then, on March 1st 2000, 9 months after I began care, Dr. Gil did a second follow up x-ray study, and much to my surprise, my neck measured +17, a 100%, perfectly normal spine!

Some Doctors say… ‘Spinal alignment and curvature can’t be improved or changed…’. Don’t believe them! Sometimes what they really mean is that they can’t improve the problem! Dr. Coleman Can! Here’s the proof! Chiropractic works I am proof of it!

"My entire family began receiving care from Dr. Gil about 7 years ago”

My 13 year old daughter awoke one morning in severe, extreme pain.  She could not move her head…she felt paralyzed and she was in tears, frightened and frantic not knowing what was wrong. We called Dr. Gil and he immediately saw Renee at 10am for about 90 minutes of emergency treatments of adjustments, massage and electro-muscular therapy... Renee felt much better and was no longer in tears! This is just another incident of how Dr. Gil has helped my family over the years.  After years of acquaintance with Dr. Gil and his family, we have become very close friends.

Written by a 13 year old boy…surgery or chiropractic?

It all started about three months ago. I was running after football practice, and I stepped in a pot hole. The initial injury on my ankle was very painful. But since it was football practice, I decided to suck it up, and proceed with the rest of the practice. As the days progressed, normal 13 year old activities became very hard to accomplish, and sometimes could become quite painful. Such tasks as running outside, and throwing the football around became very difficult.

I spoke to my Dad about my ankle not getting any better. After thoroughly icing it down and resting, I didn't think it was going to get any better. My Dad took me to a Sports Medicine doctor to see if this problem could be solved. The doctor said it wasn't sprained or broken, in fact, he didn't really know what was wrong. After three weeks in a cast, my ankle wasn't getting any better. After a few visits with this particular orthopedist, he suggested that the only option left was arthroscopic surgery. He said that they needed to "explore" my ankle to see what's wrong inside.

My Dad did not agree with the idea of surgery. After a while, my Dad suggested that we go and see Dr. Coleman. Dr. Coleman had previously helped my sister with back pain, and tremendously helped my Dad with his shoulder several years ago. The first time I went to Dr. Coleman, I wasn't sure that I'd EVER feel better. But after just ONE adjustment, the pain was instantly relieved. I was very happy. I finally felt better.

I'm living proof that chiropractic does work. Surgery is not the only alternative to an injury. Thanks to Dr. Coleman, and his friendly staff, I'm feeling much better, and I can finally be myself again!

"I tell all my friends to 'come see Dr. Coleman – he’ll make you better'!"

When I began seeing Dr. Coleman, I had been diagnosed two years earlier with Polymyalgia Rheumatica (a form of arthritis) and was taking steroids for inflammation in my muscles, joints and arteries.  Even on medication, I received very little relief.  I can remember how I would wake in the morning and would have to literally roll out of bed.  Then I would get in a tub of water so that I would have a slight amount of relief and could move my body enough to get ready for work.  I missed playing with my grandchildren and living the lifestyle that I enjoyed before my diagnosis.

This was very discouraging to me, and I decided that there had to be another alternative.  I did not want to be on medication for the rest of my life, nor did I want to continue to have this constant pain in my neck, shoulders, collarbone, arms, back of my legs and lower back.  That is when I decided to give chiropractic a chance.

Dr. Coleman took my case history and did thorough physical and x-ray examinations in addition to an examination of my spine.  Then Dr. Coleman took the time to review his findings with me in a very detailed manner.  We discussed together a method of treatment.  In a very short period of time after beginning adjustments, I began to get relief.

As I continued with my adjustments, my level of pain decreased.I was once again able to lift my arms over my head pain free, to pick up my grandchildren and play with them, and to walk at a normal pace around my office at work.

I am truly amazed at the improvement I have made, and thank Dr. Coleman for making it possible for me to enjoy life once again.  Dr. Coleman’s office and staff are the best! They are always so friendly and helpful when I come for my appointments.  I am a living example of the benefits of chiropractic care, and I tell all my friends to “come see Dr. Coleman – he’ll make you better”!

Arthritis, Neck & Back Pain

It has been about 15 years that I have been going to one Chiropractor or another on an on again, off again basis.  Not until I met Dr. Gil have I been really comfortable with adjustments.  I attribute this to his unbelievable bedside manner and his common folk, down to earth way of explaining my ailment and the necessary steps to correct it through, not only Chiropractic, but also with supplements and preventative care practices.

I did have some hurdles as far as my financial and time constraints are concerned but as Dr. Gil stated "What is your health worth to you?  "Well he has me convinced.  After going through several months of continuous treatment I know it was worth all the time and money that I have spent and will spend in the future to assure my health is the best that it can be.And you know, those hurdles that I mentioned, they don't seem to be all that big anymore.  Thanks Dr. Gil!!!

“I Drive 2 ½ Hours to See Dr. Gil and it’s Worth it!”

In this fast paced world something that takes two and a half hours to do better be important. Two and a half hours is a big chunk of one’s day and most of us would question if it’s worth the time and effort. For me spending two and a half hours driving from Kennesaw to Alpharetta and back just for an adjustment by Dr. Gil is more than worth it.

You could argue that there are many chiropractors between my house and here but, not with Dr. Gil’s ability.  I have arthritis in my neck, which if I was ninety would be OK, but at half that age my neck becomes so stiff I have to move my body because I can’t turn my head more than 10 degrees or so.  Not so after Dr. Gil works me over. Not only can I move my head without moving my body but, my range of motion goes from 10 degrees to closer to 90 degrees.I may never be able to look over my shoulder at someone behind me but I can drive my car safely.

Yes, for me there is no question that the two and a half hours I spend to get my adjustment are worth 10 times that amount.  Keep up the great work Dr. Coleman.

…The most amazing adjustment I have had was the arch of my left foot…it never entered my mind that something in my foot was misaligned…”

What can I honestly say about Dr. Gil?  OUCH!!!YOW!!!ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME???IS MY HEAD STILL CONNECTED??? I know he is just doing his job, but does he have to enjoy it quite so much?  Where did he learn to stick his elbow clear through your body?  But what is most amazing is that I always seem to feel better after my torturous session with the good Doctor.

I have been visiting Dr. Gil for some time now, and if he wasn’t doing something right, I wouldn’t still be coming.  No matter what he says, I am not a masochist.  I come for a weekly adjustment even if I don’t feel too bad in a given week. It amazes me how many bones he can crack each time I visit. Then, of course, there are the “fatherly” lectures on the type of life behaviors I need to change… get that big billfold out of your back pocket… do these stretching exercises… stop slouching, etc. Of course I do none of what he says, so he gets to keep making money doing my adjustments. Why does he give me instructions that might help me not need to come to him for help?  Could it be he really cares about my health?

I started visiting Dr. Gil for chronic pain in my neck. Just about the time we had it feeling pretty good, I was rear-ended by another vehicle and we had to start all over again (was that dollar signs I saw in his eyes?). Back to the beginning… Dr. Gil took a set of X-rays and then spent a significant amount of time reading them, explaining them, writing all over them, telling me what he saw, when all I wanted him to do was make it stop hurting. Finally, he began the arduous task of bending and shaping me back into a more proper alignment. It was shortly after this that I assigned him a theme song from back in the 1960s...“Bend Me, Shape Me” by a one-hit wonder group named The American Breed.

I have entrusted Dr. Gil with most of my body ever since. The most amazing adjustment I have had was actually some foot pain I experienced earlier this year.  I had bought some new shoes, and all of a sudden the top of the arch of my left foot started hurting so badly I couldn’t wear the shoes. I had never had shoes bother me this way before, but I figured it was just because they were so nice and tight. It never entered my mind that Dr. Gil would be able to do anything about this pain, and I really only mentioned it to him in passing. He immediately put me back on the table and started to work on my foot.  Even though I was skeptical that it would do any good, I let him have his fun. Was I ever pleasantly surprised to have the pain start to ease that same afternoon and then completely gone!It never entered my mind that something in my foot was misaligned, but I am sure glad I did mention it.

The moral is… tell him everything, no matter what you think. Make him earn his pay!! Seriously, I come to Dr. Gil to feel better, and to hopefully prevent any serious alignment problems. He does a great job. Over the years, it has become as much a friendship as it is a Doctor/Patient relationship. I think he really does care about our health.
