Dr. Gil Coleman is a passionate Sports Chiropractor with 20 years of experience helping athletes surpass their natural abilities. His work uniquely combines chiropractic, physical therapy and rehabilitation to create faster results that last longer.   The pride he takes in his work is obvious, and his upbeat and positive attitude is refreshing and contagious.

Dr. Coleman’s approach is to clear the mind and body of “blocks and stops” that limit the expression of health and balance.  With clearing the nervous system of interference at the core, Dr. Gil looks at the relationship between muscles, joints and body function and beyond. He considers everything: feet, extremities, nutrition, rehabilitation, health coaching, spinal decompression, physical therapy and of course referral when appropriate. His services support the mental, emotional, and spiritual, as well as the physical.

“I treat every patient as an Olympic athlete whether you run, bike or sit behind a desk and never exercise” he says. Why? Because he believes, people have the potential within themselves to be healthier, faster, stronger, smarter, and more thoughtful of others than they think they can. By removing interference patterns to the body, you become noticeably better at being you.

Dr. Coleman expands his knowledge by attending dozens of personal growth and development seminars that span thousands of hours on many topics in and outside of chiropractic. A few subjects include: nutrition, spine and extremity biomechanics, diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation, sports medicine, and advanced cranial adjusting. Dr. Coleman is certified in Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA) by the American Academy of Manual & Physical Medicine. He is also a graduate of Landmark Education and completed the Self Expression Leadership Program.

Gil has many hobbies, interests and passions. He loves team and individual sports and is a passionate fly fisherman. His enjoys mountain biking, skiing, hiking, boating, and camping.  He is an accomplished fine art photographer with a focus on nature and landscape. He has two children, Matthew (8) and Jennifer (11) and is married to Barbara who he met while in chiropractic school. On weekends he can be found doing sports photography at the kids soccer, football and basketball games.
